The first step you need to take when you receive a chargeback or returned payment is to contact your bank. Your bank does not report your returned items to us but they should be able to provide a reason for the return, in some cases the bank will re-process the check for you. The second step when a chargeback or return is received is to contact your customer to arrange a new payment. The decision to allow another check payment is up to you as a business. We cannot guide in whether or not to process another check.

In many cases, we will issue a credit to your Green account for the fees you paid to us.* You must report the bad check by following the instructions located at http://www.green.money/return.

Please keep in mind that ALL financial institutions have their Return Threshold. You may want to speak with your bank regarding what they consider allowable. If you have a High-Risk business model, dealing with those customers who are in financial trouble, you may want to consider keeping a High Balance with your bank or setting up a Consolidated Returns account.

*This credit has certain criteria. Go to http://www.green.money/return to view the specifics.
